Entering a writing contest can help advance your writing, inspire new ideas, or help with writer’s block. Enter our writing contest for a chance to win a self-publishing package!

Winner receives:

Feature in our newsletter, “The Writers’ Block”

Rules:

Entries should be between 500 and 1200 words

Please include word count on entry

Entry must be titled

Submissions will be accepted until August 6th

Prompt:

Write a story or scene about two people having dinner together. Each person has a completely different background from the other. What do they learn about each other that is unexpected?
